Postpartum care
As a midwife, I offer home visits during the postpartum period. We get to know each other during pregnancy, and once your baby is born and you're settled in your own home, I'll visit you regularly. I'll keep an eye on all important medical parameters and be there for your concerns.
Postpartum care process
Ideally, care begins with the Parent-Child Passport consultation.
If you have any questions during your pregnancy, you can also reach me by phone.
From the 32nd week of pregnancy, we will arrange another meeting to clarify specific questions about the final weeks of pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. You will also receive information on what you might still need to prepare for a smooth start with your baby.
In the final weeks of pregnancy, I am also available for phone consultations.
Once your baby is born, simply send me a text message to let me know.
We’ll stay in touch, and depending on when you return home, I’ll visit you either the same day or the following day.
I provide care after both outpatient and inpatient births.

A total of up to 12 home visits are partially covered by health insurance.
Typically, 3 to 6 visits are necessary and desired during the postpartum period.
We will decide together how many visits you need, based on your individual needs.
Costs:

Appointment at the office (60 minutes): €120

Home visit (60 minutes): €140

Home visit on weekend and bank holidays (60 minutes): 160€

Phone consultation (15 minutes): €20
I work as a private midwife. You will receive an invoice which can be partially reimbursed by your health insurance after submission.

If I am on vacation or sick leave, I will try to arrange care with another suitable midwife.
